We are seeking a candidate who is a self starter and who is able to work independently but one that also understands the importance of teamwork within a smaller organization. This candidate must be positive, fun, reliable, with a commitment to quality. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing, baking, decorating and finishing baked goods.
Some responsibilities include:
Maintaining & strictly abiding by sanitation/health regulations; Follows recipes precisely, including conversion capabilities, and understands mis en place. Proofing, baking & finishing; Restocking kitchen supplies and food items required for service; Safely uses all kitchen equipment; Maintains a clean and organized work area; All duties assigned. Preferred candidates will possess an Associate Degree in baking and pastry/or course certification from an accreditation culinary institute. Previous management experience in a professional setting required. Minimum 1 years pastry experience required.
