Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to add to our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and a flair for creating innovative menus that delight our guests. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will oversee food preparation, kitchen operations, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. Duties Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation Develop and plan diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences, including fine dining options and catering services Oversee food production, ensuring all dishes meet safety standards and are prepared efficiently with attention to detail Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste through effective food management practices Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, proper handling procedures, and sanitation standards across the kitchen Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary requests and maintain menu accuracy Supervise shift management, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative team environment that encourages growth and excellence Requirements Proven experience in banquet cooking, fine dining establishments, or catering environments with strong leadership skills Demonstrated supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting with team management responsibilities Extensive culinary experience including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and food handling regulations Strong background in restaurant or hospitality industry operations with expertise in menu planning and food service management Ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and ensure consistent quality across all culinary activities Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during busy shifts Join us if you're passionate about creating memorable dining experiences!
