•Hiring for a PT Cook/Demo Chef to work Saturdays for our CO Springs Showroom

•Job Description The Demo Chef has the overall responsibilities for preparation and presentation of all food demonstrations, special functions and lectures that take place in the demo kitchens of Specialty Appliance with a high degree of professionalism, presenting to both public and private parties. Essential Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver public and private demonstrations at Colorado Springs Specialty Appliance Showroom. Promotes Specialty Appliance through personal interactions with guests and industry partners, answering questions, and encouraging ongoing relationships with Specialty Appliance. Follows methods as set out in the distributed recipes to avoid the possibility of confusing attendees. Order food and supplies for demonstrations as needed with a focus on preventing waste. Ensure that all orders for food and beverage are placed within the correct category to maintain accurate and thorough tracking of costs for programs. Be accountable for food cost relating to programs and stay within guidelines set forth. Encourage store sales of equipment that is being used for the current demonstration. Ensure that the space for the culinary presentations is maintained in a clean and professional manner. Any and all other duties as assigned. This position will be a contract position (1099). Hours will be 11am - 3pm. Will be paid $300 which includes money used to buy food for the demonstrations.
