Do you excel in fast-paced, high-volume, dining environments. If so, we want to hear from you. We are seeking an Executive Chef to oversee menu development, provide creative direction, and ensure the highest standards of culinary excellence, with a focus on steak and seafood dishes. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of hands-on culinary experience and proven leadership in an upscale casual or fine dining setting. Total comp up to 120k
Restaurant Executive Chef Responsibilities:
  • Proper understanding of cooking, butchering, and fabricating techniques, including proper knife skills
  • Creativity in the kitchen, providing mentorship and coaching to all associates
  • Manage staff and manage hiring, terminations, and disciplinary actions
  • Maintain and manage the inventory and ordering for the kitchen
  • Ability to meet Food & Labor goals set by COO, knowledge of budgeting
  • P&L statement competency, ability to read a spreadsheet, cost sheet knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others and communicate with the management team
  • Creativity in the kitchen, working with seasonal menus and specials
  • Capable of working in a high-pressure environment meeting the needs of our guests and leading a team
  • Build and maintain relationships with team, guest and vendors
Restaurant Executive Chef Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Executive Chef experience within a high-volume restaurant
  • At least 2 years of fine dining kitchen experience
  • 2 years Supervisory experience within a kitchen setting
  • Formal culinary training is preferred but not required;
ServSafe Certification Salary:
$100k with total comp up to 120k Benefits & Perks for Managers Earn PTO from day one: 16 days each calendar year (prorated based on start date). After 5 years, PTO increases to 21 days. Restaurants closed Thanksgiving & Christmas. 30 hours a week is considered full time and eligible for benefits. Company pays 50% of all company-sponsored benefits (medical, dental & vision). With medical enrollment, a $15k life insurance policy is included. Company pays 100% of short- and long-term disability benefits for managers. Additional options include Life, Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, and Pet Insurance, plus Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Account, and Transit/Parking programs for full-time employees. Free shift meal when working. Monthly voucher card with food allowance added on the 1st of each month. 20% off non-alcoholic items when dining in-restaurant with up to 3 guests (voucher card cannot be used with discount).
