Job Description

Chef (Part-Time and "As Needed" Position) Chef Paul Barron is seeking a professional, dependable, and hospitality driven Chef to join our growing catering team. This role is ideal for an experienced culinary professional who takes pride in exceptional food, polished presentation, and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Chef, your main goal will be to assist and lead the execution of in home dinner parties, catered events, and private gatherings at The Table. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, plating, presentation, and maintaining a high standard of quality throughout each event. You will work closely with Chef Paul Barron and the entire catering team to ensure each event is executed smoothly from preparation through service. This is a part time, as needed position, typically involving evenings and weekends, with occasional weekday events. Flexibility is required, as our events take place at various locations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, confident in a professional kitchen, and able to remain calm and adaptable in a fast paced environment. We are a close knit team that takes a group oriented approach rather than operating in strictly individual roles. Everyone supports one another to ensure seamless execution. Responsibilities Prepare and execute menus for in home dinner parties, catered events, and private gatherings Lead food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to Chef Paul Barron's standards Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail throughout service Work closely with Chef to execute menus Coordinate with the Sous Chef and Catering Team Members to ensure efficient service Assist with event setup, kitchen organization, service, and breakdown as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures Communicate effectively with the team before and during events Represent the Chef Paul Barron brand with professionalism and hospitality Qualifications Professional culinary experience required Catering, private dining, restaurant, or event experience preferred Strong cooking and food preparation skills Ability to confidently execute a menu in a variety of kitchen environments Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to work evenings and weekends Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to hospitality

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
