Responsibilities Prepare a diverse range of catering menu items with precision, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative dishes and accommodating special dietary needs based on client requests Execute food preparation tasks including poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking techniques to produce high-volume orders efficiently Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the workspace Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations and prevent contamination Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to maintain freshness and quality during meal production Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals while maintaining high standards of taste and presentation Skills Proven dietary aide experience or dietary department experience with knowledge of special dietary accommodations Strong menu planning skills with an understanding of culinary concepts such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food production techniques Extensive food service experience in a catering, restaurant, or high-volume kitchen environment Excellent knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely Familiarity with food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food handling protocols Experience with fine dining or upscale food presentation styles is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and recipe adherence Knowledge of food industry standards related to cooking, meal preparation, and food safety regulations Join us as an Hourly Catering Chef and become part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional culinary experiences!
