Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, dependable Lead Line Cook who enjoys cooking on the line and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for working alongside the back-of-house team while helping maintain an organized, clean, and accountable kitchen. Responsibilities Work efficiently on the line during daily service Lead and support other back-of-house team members Run shifts during high-volume service Assist with writing and managing daily prep lists Ensure all menu items meet our standards for quality, consistency, presentation, and portioning Follow all approved recipes and preparation procedures Maintain proper opening and closing procedures Hold team members accountable for completing assigned tasks Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen Ensure compliance with health codes, food-safety standards, and proper sanitation practices Monitor and maintain cooler, freezer, and dry-storage organization Properly label, date, rotate, and store all food products Communicate prep needs, product shortages, and operational concerns to management Help create a positive, productive, and team-focused kitchen environment Qualifications Previous line-cook experience required Prior leadership or shift-lead experience preferred Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Dependable, organized, and accountable Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and lead effectively during busy service Passion for cooking and producing high-quality food Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
