Job Overview:

We're hiring a Sous Chef to work in the commissary kitchen serving EOS Greek Bowls, a new fast-casual Greek restaurant. You'll be part of a team handling catering, ordering, recipe testing, and training, in addition to overseeing restaurant operations. You'll work alongside another sous chef and a working manager, reporting directly to the Executive Chef. After Probation period, salary can be negotiated. What you'll do: Oversee day-to-day operations of the EOS commissary and sister restaurant Handle catering orders from planning through execution Place and manage vendor orders; maintain inventory and par levels Test and refine recipes for the menu and catering offerings Train and coach kitchen staff on recipes, procedures, and standards Build and manage staff schedules Run the line during service; maintain quality and ticket-time standards Help design and build out the commissary kitchen — layout, equipment, systems Cover shifts as needed alongside the team What we're looking for: 2+ years in a kitchen management or sous chef role Comfortable with both vendor/inventory management and staff scheduling/training Recipe development or catering experience a plus Experience opening or building out a new kitchen a plus ServSafe certified or willing to obtain Strong communication and organizational skills
