Salary- Salary Plan, 70,000.

Job Description As the Sous Chef you will assist the Executive Chef in managing a team of culinary professionals by crafting a positive environment that encourages ownership and accountability with leadership, support and motivation. You will have a passion for mass production without sacrificing quality, and for collaboration to improve the patient experience. To be successful in this role you will have:- Understanding of and ability to demonstrate fundamentals of cooking (e.g., mother sauces, seasonal product knowledge, etc.)
- Confirmed ability to use cooking skills in the creation of menus that meet dietary needs and culinary trends.
- The ability to navigate and lead amidst constant change Responsibilities Build a well-trained and motivated team that produces high-quality food while adhering to safety, sanitation, and service principles Provide leadership that supports a team environment that fosters morale, passion, quality, and respect Be open-minded and ready to learn from your manager and team members alike Develop creative menus that are in sync with current market trends Demonstrate continuous ability to maintain and/or improve customer and patient satisfaction Support team member recruiting, training, development, scheduling, and assignments Execute, maintain, and monitor quality control systems to protect food integrity Drive compliance with health, safety, and industry regulatory agencies
