• Operate sushi kitchen equipment proficiently and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi preparation area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation timelines.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
• Accommodate special dietary requests or restrictions when preparing sushi dishes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sushi preparation techniques, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physical dexterity and stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Familiarity with menu planning and creating visually appealing sushi presentations is a plus.
