- Lead and manage the culinary team, providing guidance and support
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of customers
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are met at all times
- Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Train and mentor staff to maintain a high level of culinary expertise
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in food preparation
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food handling, cooking techniques, and food service management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors
