This position works closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure that all pastry items are prepared accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner while upholding the highest standards of quality, presentation, and sanitation. Responsibilities Prepare and produce all desserts, baked goods, and pastry items according to established recipes and standards Set up and stock the pastry station with all necessary ingredients and supplies Execute daily dessert service, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely plating Assist in the development and preparation of seasonal and specialty dessert offerings Follow the Executive Chef's instructions and kitchen procedures Maintain organization, cleanliness, and proper storage within the pastry station Monitor inventory levels for pastry ingredients and communicate ordering needs Ensure all pastry items meet presentation and quality standards before service Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations Maintain a professional and positive attitude with coworkers and guests Qualifications Two years of experience in a fine dining restaurant or bakery with a focus on pastry or desserts Strong understanding of baking techniques, pastry methods, and dessert presentation Ability to follow recipes with precision and consistency Attention to detail and commitment to highquality execution Familiarity with industry best practices Must have or be able to obtain ServSafe® Florida Food Protection Manager Certification Must be authorized to work in the United States Schedule Typical shift begins in the early afternoon and continues through service and completion of pastry production. Shifts available seven days per week. Compensation Competitive, based on experience.
