Job Description

We are an inpatient healthcare facility that helps individuals who are struggling with mental health issues. We promote a sense of well-being and comfortability for all of our patients to ensure they are able to heal from their addiction in the best way possible. Our census of patient does fluctuate daily so being able to prep and cook accordingly for the amount of patients is important. We want our patients to have a health conscious meal and a smiling face serving it to them! We are 24 hour/7 day a week operation and our doors do not close. Our meal times are 8am, 12pm and 5pm. We have a 30 day menu for these 3 meal times. The ability to read and understand a recipe card is a requirement. Experience with ordering and maintaining an inventory of all necessary ingredients is also a requirement. Qualifications and Experience for
Executive Chef:
Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner Cooking for 2 facilities, Riverdale, GA & Braselton, GA Servsafe required Open availability is required Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Frequently required to use hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to lift and/or move items up to 30 pounds. Must be able to adjust vision to both day and night lighting and be able to focus on distant and close-range projects. Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages. Managing the daily operations of kitchen. Follow recipes for food prep Follow recipes for meals ordered on demand in a timely manner Thorough knowledge of oven, flat top grill, and sauté including meat temperature of tenderloin steak, chicken, fish cookery which is, ahi tuna, salmon, ground turkey, soups, stews, whole egg and egg whites Bake desserts Wash dishes when needed Ability to work well under pressure and be able to multi-task Good understanding of all applicable health and safety legislation and experience working with strict health and hygiene regimes Implement and monitor all health and safety hygiene practices and procedures Full understanding of food control Maintain and improve standard of service and operating standards ensuring maximum guest satisfaction Hands-on, lead by example style Reliable transportation
