Responsibilities Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene in the kitchen Source fresh ingredients daily and ensure proper storage to preserve quality Collaborate with team members to develop new sushi recipes and presentation styles Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy service hours without compromising quality Educate junior staff on sushi techniques, knife skills, and presentation standards Adhere to all health regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment Requirements Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen setting Strong knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including rice cooking, fish handling, and knife skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail for presentation and ingredient quality Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures Passion for Japanese cuisine and culinary innovation Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us if you're eager to bring your sushi mastery to life in a lively culinary atmosphere!
