JOB OVERVIEW

To handcraft a quality layered doughnut from start to finish that meets or exceeds the Parlor standard. Den workers are responsible for ensuring a full display of doughnuts, and hand-crafted kitchen products while meeting the needs of the customer.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is primarily for every Monday and Tuesday, but you may be asked to fill in on an early weekday shift in the event of an emergency Must be on time for the early fry shift which is (2:00am - 7:30am) Prepare and fry our layered doughnuts from start to finish Must keep a clean and organized workspace Keep inventory (glazes and toppings) Maintain and clean fryers and other food prep equipment Complete all daily tasks per the Den checklist Maintain dress code Restock doughnuts as needed Support the full staff team with side work ( e.g.box assembly, bag stamping, wiping down tables, washing dishes, etc.) Provide support to Front of House during busy times Participate in team shift meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

ServSafe Food Handler Certification (preferred) Live within a 15-mile radius of our Bolingbrook location Prior Bakery experience Service-oriented Strong work ethic Excellent Interpersonal skills Basic culinary knowledge Detail Oriented Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Great conflict resolution skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Standing for long periods of time Lifting up to 50 pounds

EXPERIENCE

Practical experience in various food service positions or Bakeries Knowledge/training/certification in kitchen emergencies (First Aid, CPR, Fires) Customer service experience a plus

OTHER DUTIES

Our Den Workers are critical to setting the tone, culture, and success of the entire store. The right person for this role should have a passion for serving people with radical hospitality, a strong sense of ownership for the success of the team as well as a "whatever it takes" attitude.
