Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating processes to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. Manage inventory control, procurement, and food cost management to optimize resources and minimize waste. Supervise kitchen operations during shifts, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Train staff on food handling, safety procedures, and culinary techniques to foster a skilled and motivated team. Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, budget planning, and operational improvements to enhance overall efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong background in food production and dining service management. Knowledge of dietary department practices in a senior living campus with independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse culinary team effectively. Expertise in inventory management, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations. Strong culinary skills with proficiency in cooking techniques across various cuisines. Experience in menu planning, food service management, and shift coordination. Familiarity with hospitality standards, food handling regulations, and restaurant experience is essential.
