This position will be responsible for developing and executing desserts for our lunch and dinner menus, along with pastry and dessert offerings for our popular Sunday brunch. We are looking for someone with strong pastry fundamentals, creativity, and a good eye for presentation. Our goal is to offer desserts that are polished, seasonal, and interesting while still being approachable and appealing to a wide range of guests.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and prepare plated desserts for the dinner menu Create pastries and dessert features for Sunday brunch Develop seasonal specials and new menu items Maintain consistent recipes, portions, and presentation Manage pastry prep, production, inventory, and ordering Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area Monitor product quality, food cost, and wasteWhat We're Looking For:
Professional pastry, baking, or culinary experience Strong understanding of pastry techniques and production Creativity and attention to detail Strong organization and time-management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a culinary team Dependable and consistent in a professional kitchen environment This role offers the opportunity to contribute creatively to an established, locally owned restaurant and help shape both our dinner dessert menu and Sunday brunch pastry program.
