Calling all passionate and experienced Sous Chefs! Phoenicia is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Birmingham.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu development, recipe creation, and staff training. Oversee daily kitchen operations in the Executive Chef's absence. Ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation for all dishes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Order and manage inventory. Lead and coach the line cooks, fostering a positive and productive team environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a fine dining kitchen setting. Proven track record of culinary excellence and creativity. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
