The Executive Chef oversees the Back of House team members, takes care of the inventory and ordering needs, as well as creates and maintains the menu. The Executive Chef has a strong presence in our restaurants and gives great attention to detail in kitchen management, quality of service and quality of food.

Executive Chef Job Description:

Experience working as a Head Chef Culinary degree (preferred) Excellent culinary skills Strong leadership and communication skills Positive attitude Able to communicate clearly, professionally, concisely and respectfully Proven record of Kitchen Management expertise Menu creation Experience in menu planning and recipe development Supplier Management experience Problem-solving skills, multi-tasking ability, and being able to perform well under pressure are also highly necessary in the ideal candidate

Additional Requirements:

Ensure seamless service Supervision of kitchen staff Oversee and assist with food production tasks Ensure quality and cost standards are consistently obtained Kitchen Administrative duties

Benefits:

Executive Chef base salary $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Quarterly bonus of $5000 per quarter. Total potential of $20,000 annually, criteria to be outlined on separate document Health & Other Voluntary Benefits, 70% employer contribution (up to a set amount), 30% employee funded One weeks paid vacation after one year of service Five personnel days allowed with notice after six months of service until vacation kicks in after year one 401K, direct deposit (full explanations to be outlined in employee handbook) We offer tremendous growth and earning potential with an establishment with proven track record and built in fan base in Metro Detroit.
