Job Description

Position Summary The Chef de Cuisine - Harvest Table is the senior culinary leader responsible for directing all culinary operations at the organization's largest residential dining facility. This role carries Executive Chef-level expectations and demands a hands-on culinary professional capable of delivering exceptional food quality, operational excellence, and leadership at scale. The Chef de Cuisine sets the culinary vision for the location, establishes uncompromising standards, and leads a large, diverse team in a fast-paced, high-volume cafeteria environment with elevated expectations. Essential Functions
  • Serves as the lead culinary authority for the residential dining operation, setting the vision, tone, and standards for all food served.
  • Develops, refines, and executes menus that reflect Harvest Table values, balancing creativity, inclusivity, nutrition, and operational feasibility.
  • Establishes and enforces high standards for flavor, freshness, consistency, and presentation across all meal periods and platforms.
  • Oversees daily culinary operations ensuring seamless execution during peak service times.
  • Leads, trains, coaches, and develops a large culinary team, fostering accountability and professionalism.
  • Manages food and labor costs while maintaining premium quality expectations.
  • Ensures compliance with food safety, sanitation, allergen management, and regulatory standards.
  • Oversees special events, theme meals, and residential programming. Qualifications
  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and large-scale production systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
