Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and leadership within a fast-paced environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your creativity and expertise will play a vital role in menu development and catering services. Responsibilities Supervise and manage kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during shifts. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality standards. Develop and implement menus that cater to dietary needs and preferences. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Collaborate with the dietary department to create nutritious meal options. Provide training and mentorship to junior cooks and kitchen staff. Coordinate catering events, ensuring timely delivery of food services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Experience Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen equipment. Experience in supervising staff and managing shifts effectively. Background in catering services is preferred but not required. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
