Job Description

Regional Executive Chef Compensation:
$110,000 annually
Locations:
32 North Restaurant + two East Rock Coffee locations
Benefits:
Paid vacation and 401(k), subject to plan terms We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on Regional Executive Chef to lead culinary operations across three locations. Each kitchen has a lead responsible for daily execution. The Regional Executive Chef will provide senior culinary leadership, establish standards, develop kitchen teams, control costs, and ensure consistent execution across the group. The ideal candidate has a strong background as an Executive Chef, Corporate Chef, or Regional Executive Chef and has successfully managed multiple kitchens, restaurant locations, or culinary teams. Responsibilities Maintain consistent culinary standards across all locations Regularly work in and inspect each kitchen, including during peak service Oversee food quality, preparation, seasoning, portioning, and presentation Create and maintain standardized recipes, systems, and procedures Train and develop kitchen leads and cooks Ensure sanitation, food-safety, labeling, and Health Department compliance Monitor purchasing, inventory, waste, food cost, and labor Address operational problems and follow through on corrective action Assist with menu development and ongoing quality improvement Deliver weekly operational reports to ownership Build accountability and strong leadership within each kitchen Qualifications Several years of proven Executive Chef-level leadership experience Multi-unit or multi-location culinary management experience strongly preferred Strong kitchen management, training, and team-development skills Excellent knowledge of food safety and cost control Reliable transportation between locations Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and high-volume services as necessary We are seeking experienced culinary leaders only. This role is best suited for a chef who has already demonstrated success leading kitchens at the Executive Chef level and is prepared to oversee multiple operations.
