Job Description

Job OverviewAs Cook, you will execute the executive chef recipes at the direction to create clean and delicious dishes.

Job Description1. Cook and reproduce the same high-quality food in a consistent fashion.

Learn and follow all standardized recipes and cooking methods from the executive chef and sous chef.

Prepare all the items needed at your station and be ready by opening time.

Operate all stations in the kitchen, from dishwashing to line cooking to deep frying.2. Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen in accordance with food hygiene policies and standards.

Keep all workstations clean and tidy. (Please return all equipment to its original place.)Store perishable items in suitable containers.

Clean up at the end of the shift as directed by the sous chef. (Keep all ingredients in the refrigerator.)3. Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Daily inventory management, reporting shortages to the sous chef, dishwashing, and creating order slips by time due.

Prep items as needed for next the meal service.

Flexible working weekdays/weekends/holidays.

Able to independently manage hygiene, health, and time.

SkillsAbility to prepare and cook meals based on recipes.

Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in any situation.

Written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to perform physical aspects of work. Able to stand, lift and move heavy equipment and work in hot conditions.

Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred.

Previous kitchen experience in a similar role preferred.

Able to use Microsoft Office
