Executive Chef - Geneva College Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania Are you a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a high-volume environment and takes pride in developing people, delivering exceptional food, and leading by example? Pioneer College Caterers is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at beautiful Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. For more than 50 years, Pioneer College Caterers has built a reputation for excellence by serving Christian colleges and universities throughout the United States. Our campus communities include students, faculty, staff, visitors, conference guests, and members of the surrounding community. Position Summary The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall culinary leadership of a dynamic collegiate dining program, including residential dining, retail food operations, grab-and-go venues, and catering services. This position requires a hands-on leader who can inspire a culinary team while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, presentation, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Culinary Arts Degree preferred, or equivalent professional culinary experience under a trained Executive Chef Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: College or University Dining Country Club Catering Hotel Food & Beverage Operations High-Volume Catering Operations Experience supervising and developing a culinary staff of at least 10 employees Current ServSafe Certification Experience overseeing high-volume resident dining, retail operations, and catering services Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Stable and verifiable employment history Ability to provide at least three professional references from previous employers Knowledge of food allergies, gluten-related dietary restrictions, and special dietary accommodations Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day culinary operations of a busy college dining program Work alongside staff in a hands-on leadership role Oversee daily food preparation and meal production Ensure excellence across all food service venues, including: Resident Dining Retail Operations Grab-and-Go Programs Catering Services Collaborate with the Food Service Director on: Menu development and revisions Recipe costing and budget controls Inventory management Kitchen staffing and scheduling Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards from receiving through service Ensure all food presentation meets Pioneer College Caterers' quality standards Train, mentor, and motivate culinary team members Maintain a professional appearance and leadership presence at all times Catering Experience Required Candidates should possess experience executing a variety of catered events, including: Fine dining functions Wedding receptions Large outdoor picnics Plated meals for up to 300 guests Multi-station buffet events serving up to 500 guests Skills & Attributes Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Proven leadership and team-building skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Commitment to excellence, hospitality, and customer service Benefits Year-round employment Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Disability insurance 401(k) Plan Profit Sharing Program Paid Time Off (PTO) Apply Today This position is currently open and will be filled as soon as possible.
