Duties Lead food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including supervising staff and managing shift schedules to maintain efficiency. Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and sanitation regulations across all kitchen areas. Plan menus in collaboration with management, incorporating dietary considerations and catering requirements. Supervise the food service process during events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and best practices in food management. Requirements Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management. Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing culinary teams or kitchen staff. Extensive knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitizing protocols, and hygiene standards within the food industry. Familiarity with banquet, catering, and restaurant management operations. Skills in inventory management, cost control, menu planning, and food service management. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service excellence. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
