We are looking for a reliable, self-driven Catering Sous Chef to join our team, lead kitchen prep, and execute flawless off-site catered events.
Key Responsibilities Culinary Excellence:
Prep, cook, and assemble high-quality, delicious menu items following established recipes and culinary presentation standards.
Independent Execution:
Oversee prep lists, manage kitchen timelines, and maintain strict food safety and sanitation practices without needing constant supervision.
Off-Site Event Management:
Pack, transport, set up, and finish dishes on-site at various event venues. Direct kitchen helpers/servers during events to ensure smooth service flow.

Work from Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and pull sheets to ensure all food, equipment, and prep items are accounted for prior to loading.
Requirements Flavor & Technique First:
Proven culinary skill with a passion for creating consistently delicious, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented food.
Self-Motivated & Independent:

Willingness and physical ability to work evening and weekend off-site events (lifting equipment, setting up field kitchens, and working directly at venues).
Experience:
2+ years of professional cooking experience (catering, banquet, or high-volume line prep preferred).
Logistics:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to off-site venues. Benefits Competitive hourly pay with potential for performance-based bonuses. Flexible event-based scheduling (great for culinary professionals looking for steady supplemental catering work). Direct collaboration with leadership in a growing business.
