Executive Chef & Culinary Director , Greater Philadelphia Help Build the Next Chapter of a Growing Restaurant Group We are a family-owned Mexican grill and taqueria group with locations across two counties in southeastern Pennsylvania, and we are expanding throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. With four locations and a fifth in development, we are looking for an experienced culinary leader to help guide our next stage of growth. This is more than an Executive Chef position. We are looking for a hands-on culinary leader, operator, and builder who can establish and maintain the food standards, systems, and culture needed to successfully grow a multi-unit restaurant group. The Role We are looking for someone who can build systems without losing the soul of the food and who is comfortable being hands-on in both the kitchen and the operation.
Food & Culinary:
Mexican cuisine, recipes, flavor, quality, portions, plating, presentation, and menu developmentOperations:
Central kitchen production, purchasing, vendors, inventory, food costs, waste, and food safetyPeople:
Kitchen leadership and development of culinary teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluations to build a motivated team.Growth:
Preparing new locations, establishing scalable systems, and collaborating with management on budget planning and strategies to maximize profitability. The Ideal Candidate Demonstrated supervisory experience managing culinary teams in fast-paced settings. Strong background in food service management and kitchen operations. Experience with inventory management, cost control, and food handling protocols. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Proven Executive Chef, Culinary Director, Corporate Chef, Multi-Unit Chef, or similar experience Strong Mexican/Latin culinary background and understanding of flavor development Multi-unit, high-volume, or growing restaurant experience preferred Strong knowledge of food cost, inventory, purchasing, waste, and operational efficiency An excellent eye for plating, presentation, and consistency Strong leadership and training skills Fluent in English and Spanish Hands-on, accountable, organized, and entrepreneurial Wants to build something, not simply maintain it The Opportunity You will have significant day-to-day culinary authority, direct access to ownership, and the opportunity to help shape how the company cooks, operates, trains, and grows. We have grown from one restaurant to four locations, with a fifth in development. We are looking for the person who can help us build the culinary foundation for what comes next. Compensation Full-time | $85,000-$105,000+, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a performance-based bonus plan.
