In this role, you will assist the General Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining an efficient work environment. You will have a role in creating seasonal menus and specials. We are looking for expertise that will help elevate our dining experience. As a key team player, you will inspire and manage kitchen staff, uphold food safety standards, and maintain inventory. Must be available weekends. Duties Assist in supervising kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and consistency. Lead and motivate kitchen staff by providing clear guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork and professional growth. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Oversee food safety procedures and sanitation practices to comply with health regulations and ensure a safe working environment. Coordinate with catering to execute special events seamlessly, ensuring timely service and exceptional guest satisfaction. Participate in menu planning by contributing creative ideas for dishes that suit our customers needs and customer preferences. Oversee shift management by organizing staffing schedules, assigning responsibilities, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations during busy periods. Requirements Proven experience in dining environments with a strong background in food production, culinary techniques, and restaurant management. Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams effectively in fast-paced settings. Extensive knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and sanitation protocols. Experience with inventory management, cost control, and food handling procedures. Skilled in catering operations, banquet services, and large-scale event coordination. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail. Strong leadership qualities complemented by excellent communication skills; previous team management experience is essential.
