Our dedicated team is passionate about sushi and strives to create a welcoming environment for our guests. We're seeking a talented Sushi Chef to join our team and help us continue to delight our customers with exquisite sushi and innovative dishes. Duties As a Sushi Chef at Sakana, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi and sashimi, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring that every dish meets our high standards. You'll work closely with our team to create an exceptional dining experience and contribute to our reputation for excellence. Prepare sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry. Source and handle fresh fish and ingredients in accordance with food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage and sanitation. Collaborate with the team to create new menu items and seasonal specials. Ensure all dishes meet quality standards and presentation guidelines. Provide excellent customer service, including accommodating special requests and dietary restrictions. Experience Experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen. Strong knowledge of sushi preparation, techniques, and ingredients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent knife skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
