Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restock merchandise as necessary, and support merchandising efforts Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating with team members Qualifications Prior experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for connecting with diverse customers Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing cash drawers confidently Knowledge of POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math concepts is advantageous Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Experience with supervising or leading small teams is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are appreciated Familiarity with retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and upselling strategies will help you succeed Embark on a rewarding career where your energy fuels our success!
