We're looking for an organized, clean, happy professional to work with and learn from our head chef with over 30 years experience. If you are someone who has 2 years or more experience with making rolls and carefully preparing ingredients for a sushi bar, this position is perfect for you. You don't need extensive experience with prepping fish or with making sashimi and nigiri. If you have some knowledge but are not confident, that's fine. We will develop you in this area. Your role on the team will be prepping, making rolls, organizing and maintaining cleanliness. Everyone must pay careful attention to the freshness and quality of ingredients. Being on time and dependable are also required. Requirements Experience as a Sushi Roller or Chef or in a similar role within fine dining or a Japanese cuisine setting. Ability to work with others in a fully collaborative manner Must be available Friday-Saturday-Sunday Full workdays are 9+ hours. Sunday to Thursday, out before 9:30 PM. Friday/Saturday, before 10 PM. We are a family run business so we have family lunches and sometimes dinner. You also have a 50% discount on a shift meal - lunch or dinner or both. Enjoy a discount with family & friends. $185.00 - $205.00 per day
