Pet Concierge, Estate Stays + Midday Visits (Scottsdale) | 1099 Woof By CC Scottsdale, AZ Job Details Contract $20 - $300 a day 1 hour ago Qualifications First Aid Certification Performing background checks Mobile devices Full Job Description Woof by CC is a luxury in-home pet concierge service based in Old Town Scottsdale. We care for primarily dogs & cats in their own homes for clients in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, North Phoenix, Cave Creek, and Fountain Hills. Our clients are often traveling for days or weeks at a time, and they hire us because their pets stay on their normal routine, in their normal home, with the same person every day. Read the whole post before applying. The questions at the end are part of the application.
THE WORK
Two services, and I'm hiring for someone who can do both: Estate Stays. You live in the client's home for full 24-hour periods. Pets are never left alone for more than 4 consecutive hours, including overnight. You walk, feed, medicate if needed, play, keep the home as clean as you found it the entire time you're there (not just on the last day), and send photo updates. Stays run anywhere from 1 night to 2+ weeks. Homes are in Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Cave Creek, and the Phoenix area. Midday Visits. 30-60 minute weekday visits, mostly in Scottsdale, usually between 10am and 2pm. Potty break, a walk, fresh water, enrichment, some attention, a photo update. Because of our 4-hour policy, these fit inside an Estate Stay day, so you can stack them. PAY This is 1099 independent contractor work. Pay depends on the job.
Estate Stays:
$75 to $110 per 24-hour period
Midday Visits:
$20 to $26 per 30-minute visit Hourly care, when a client needs it: $20/hr
Tips:
you keep 100% Booking volume is inconsistent. Some weeks are packed, some are quiet. Treated as supplemental income, it works well. Taken on fully, with Estate Stays stacked with midday visits, it adds up to a lot more. There is no guaranteed income.
WHO THIS FITS
You already have a job, or you don't need one. I'm not looking for someone's next full-time thing or a bridge to something else. You live in or very close to Scottsdale. The midday visits only make sense if you're nearby. If you're in Surprise, Buckeye, Queen Creek, etc., the drive won't work. You like sleeping in other people's homes. Not tolerate. Like. You see a 10-day stay on the calendar and you want it. You text well. Clear, warm, prompt, correctly spelled. Text is how we communicate with clients and with each other, and it is the first thing I look at. You take good photos and enjoy taking them. Clients get updates every visit. You're clean. Dishes done, counters wiped, bed made, litter scooped, every day of the stay. You can manage your own schedule and tell me your availability without being chased. You're comfortable meeting a client in person for a consultation before a booking and holding a professional conversation. You have your own reliable vehicle.
REQUIREMENTS
18+ Background check Online pet CPR/First Aid certification (completed after hire, before your first solo booking) Smartphone with a good camera Prior pet care experience (professional, volunteer, or fostering)
HOW TO APPLY
Submit your resume and a cover letter. The cover letter matters more than the resume. Tell me why in-home care specifically, what your week looks like, and where you're located. In your cover letter, include the name of the last pet you cared for that wasn't your own. That's how I know you read this. Applications without a cover letter will get one request to submit it. Applications that skip it twice will not move forward.
