WDC Kitchen & Bath Center is Southern California's premier retailer and builder distributor of home appliances and plumbing fixtures. For over 40 years, we have proudly served homeowners, contractors, designers, and builders with exceptional products, expert guidance, and world-class customer service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Showroom Concierge to join our team and contribute to our continued success. About the
Role:

This role is ideal for someone who is naturally curious about systems, products, and people. The construction industry moves fast, so we are eager to find a candidate that thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and is eager to build a career into administrative leadership or sales consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides a welcoming environment to all customers entering the building, then matches new customer opportunities to sales staff based on store policy. Using various software to review open orders for accuracy and updating orders or customer information if changes occur. Performs routine office tasks necessary for the operation and presentation of a professional workplace as observed by the Area Manager. Promptly, accurately, professionally and courteously receive telephone calls if Reception is not available. Adept at using all telephone system features for forwarding calls, placing on hold, and checking voicemails. Engages with Customers professionally and courteously with genuine concern for their WDC experience needs. Builds rapport with guests of the showroom, customers, vendors and coworkers. Attend on-going training courses to stay current on our products. Work as a team player and partner with fellow team members to create a positive, supportive, respectful and cohesive work environment. Participate in regular shifts to cover store operational hours, including weekends and some holidays. Manages refreshment area and takes stock to ensure adequately supplied. Assists with product demonstrations when needed. Is aware of Showroom display standards and escalates concern to the appropriate people if an area is not aligned with these standards related to marketing and pricing. Leads the seasonal store decoration efforts in collaboration with Area Manager.
Qualifications:
At least two years' experience within a luxury retail, customer service, or similar role required. Proficiency in MS Office Good organizational skills Able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, and demonstrate good listening skills Minimum High school diploma or GED required Availability to work 5 weekly shifts totaling 40 hours per week. Shifts are typically, 9:30am

Working Environment & Conditions:
General showroom setting, frequently sitting, standing, walking, and using computer and phone. Required to wear business professional attire.
