Type:
full-time Seeking an engaging, polished Retail Greeter to create an exceptional first impression for guests at a luxury boutique in Palo Alto. The Maison Host will welcome clients, support appointment scheduling, manage visitor flow, and provide professional communication by phone, email, and chat. The boutique operates primarily by appointment, so this role is essential in guiding walk-in visitors and ensuring every client receives a warm, informed, and seamless experience.

Must be available and comfortable working weekends. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers promptly, professionally, and warmly as the first point of contact in the boutique. Explain the appointment-based boutique experience to walk-in visitors and offer to schedule future appointments. Serve as an ambassador for the Maison and deliver a refined, client-centered experience. Direct visitors to the appropriate boutique team member and manage inbound calls. Use an iPad to book and coordinate client appointments. Respond to customer inquiries through email and chat, including questions about appointments, boutique hours, and repair processes. Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional front-of-house presence. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, articulate presence. Comfort working in dynamic customer-facing environments. Experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail, contact center, or customer service environments is preferred. Students and early-career professionals with strong client-service instincts are encouraged to apply. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
