Founded in 1974, WFHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 50+ employees and volunteers. WFHC. POSITION PURPOSE
Attends to all visitors, patients, team members, volunteers, and vendors by ensuring safe entry into Westside Family Health Center. Serves as the first point of contact while maintaining a diligent, professional, and friendly presence when individuals inquire about the nature of their visit. Key Responsibilities Greet and communicate with team members, vendors, volunteers, and patients in a friendly, confident, courteous, and respectful manner. Consistently display professionalism in appearance and behavior. Maintain a full understanding of WFHC confidentiality policies, procedures, and HIPAA requirements. Explain all WFHC services to guests and walk‑in visitors. Confirm patient appointments accurately and efficiently. Ensure the lobby and front desk areas are equipped with daily supplies and maintained in an organized, welcoming condition. Assist with facility-related tasks, including conducting walk-throughs, inventorying supplies, and distributing supplies as needed to support daily operations. Health Screening Follow Health screening procedures prior to anyone entering the building i.e., before entering the facility. Responsible for the sanitization of screening station and common areas in the lobby.
Qualifications:
Two years of customer service experience, preferably in a health care setting or non-profit clinic or community service setting. Experience working with computers and entering data quickly and accurately. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including computer skills to receive and convey information clearly and concisely. Bilingual English/Spanish required Ability to multi-task and work alone. Be able to work with minimal supervision.
