Job Description

Colorado Eye Institute is a physician-led ophthalmology practice committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience from the first consultation through surgery and recovery. Our team is focused on providing personalized, concierge-level service while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Surgical Coordinator team as a Surgical Concierge to assist our patients throughout their surgical journey. This role focuses on patient readiness, education, coordination, and delivering a seamless, supportive experience. Position Overview The Surgical Concierge plays a key role in ensuring patients feel informed, prepared, and supported before surgery. Acting as a liaison between the clinic, surgery center, and the patient, this role helps coordinate the surgical process while delivering an elevated, concierge-style experience. Key Responsibilities Guide patients through the surgical journey from scheduling through surgery day Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination Serve as a point of contact for surgical patients Provide initial education regarding pre-operative steps and documentation Communicate proactively with patients to answer questions and reduce anxiety Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record Deliver a high-touch, concierge-level patient experience Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who naturally provides white-glove service, anticipates patient needs, and enjoys creating a smooth and reassuring experience for patients during what can be an emotional and stressful time. Qualifications Exceptional customer service and communication skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple patients and timelines simultaneously Comfortable educating and guiding patients through medical processes and finances Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach If you enjoy helping people, are highly organized, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, we would love to hear from you!
Pay:
$18.00 per hour
