Job Description
Position Summary The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and professional environment. This role is responsible for greeting members, checking guests in, answering questions, handling membership inquiries, and supporting the daily operations of the club. Key Responsibilities Welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude. Check members in and verify memberships using the club management system. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to questions about memberships, club amenities, class schedules, and promotions. Register guests and explain guest policies. Process membership enrollments, upgrades, renewals, and cancellations as directed. Accept payments and accurately process transactions. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Address member concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary. Promote club programs, personal training, and special events to members and prospective clients. Assist with administrative tasks, filing, and maintaining accurate member records. Enforce club policies and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all members. Work collaboratively with trainers, sales staff, and management to provide an outstanding member experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, or front desk experience is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer and cash-handling skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to move throughout the facility as needed.
