Guest Service Concierge | Photo Booth Attendant The Phototique Washington, DC Job Details Part-time $20 - $22 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Software troubleshooting Unloading Moving Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Event setup Materials handling Event customer service Full Job Description Job Overview llooking for reliable, professional, and personable individuals to join our event team as Guest Experience Concierges / Photo Booth Attendants . This is a part-time, event-based position with hours based on our event schedule. Weekly hours are not guaranteed, making this role best suited for someone looking for supplemental income and flexible event work. Events may take place during weekdays, evenings, and weekends throughout the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area. Our team works at corporate events, galas, conferences, weddings, private celebrations, and branded activations. In this role, you'll be responsible for transporting, setting up, operating, and breaking down professional photo booth equipment; engaging with guests; monitoring photo quality; and troubleshooting basic equipment issues throughout the event. You'll also help ensure each activation is polished, organized, and runs smoothly from setup through breakdown. Team members are offered event assignments based on availability, experience, and event needs. What You'll Do Event Setup

+ Breakdown Transport photo booth equipment to and from event venues Load and unload equipment Set up photo booths, cameras, printers, lighting, backdrops, and related materials Test all equipment before guests arrive Break down and carefully repack equipment after the event Keep equipment and the activation area clean, organized, and presentation-ready Guest Experience Welcome and engage guests throughout the event Confidently explain and demonstrate the experience Assist guests with posing and positioning when appropriate Encourage participation without being overly aggressive Manage guest flow and keep the experience organized during busy periods Represent The Phototique professionally when interacting with clients, planners, venue staff, and guests Photo Quality

+ Equipment Monitor image quality throughout the event Pay attention to lighting, framing, focus, guest placement, and overall presentation Make basic lighting or camera adjustments when necessary Troubleshoot common issues involving cameras, iPads, printers, lighting, and photo booth software Contact the team promptly when an issue cannot be resolved onsite We're Looking for Someone Who Is Dependable and punctual — event start times are firm Polished, courteous, and professional when communicating with clients, guests, and venue teams Friendly, confident, and comfortable approaching and assisting guests Able to remain calm and solution-focused when something goes wrong Comfortable working independently after training Detail-oriented and able to follow event instructions carefully Comfortable handling and being responsible for professional event equipment Attentive to how photos look, not simply whether the booth is functioning Available for occasional evening, weekend, weekday, and daytime events Requirements Reliable transportation to event venues throughout the DC/MD/Northern Virginia area Ability to lift and safely move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to load, unload, set up, and break down event equipment Comfortable using technology such as iPads, cameras, printers, and event software Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to follow written setup instructions, event summaries, and procedures Reliable phone access for communication with the event team Photography knowledge is strongly preferred , particularly experience with lighting, framing, cameras, or taking high-quality portraits. Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, photography, AV, or event production is a plus. Schedule This is an as-needed, event-based position with no guaranteed number of hours per week. Most assignments are several hours and include additional time for setup and breakdown.

Events may be scheduled during:

Weekday mornings or afternoons Weekday evenings Weekend afternoons and evenings Occasional late evenings Team members are offered assignments based on event needs, availability, experience, and the equipment required for each event. Compensation Part-time, event-based compensation. Pay is discussed during the interview process and may vary based on the assignment, event length, responsibilities, and experience.
