Play Space Attendant
  • Monday-Thursday Schedule

    8:45 AM

We're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy, genuinely enjoys interacting with families, and takes pride in creating an outstanding experience for every guest. Position Overview This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that combines customer service, cleaning, organization, and daily facility operations. You'll often be the first person families see when they arrive, so a warm and welcoming personality is important. At the same time, you'll be responsible for keeping the play space clean, organized, stocked, and running smoothly throughout your shift. This position also requires regularly working with multiple computer and tablet-based systems , including reservations, waivers, payments, memberships, and other operational tools. You should be comfortable learning new technology and switching between systems while assisting guests. There will also be times when you are the only employee working on-site , so you must be comfortable working independently, making appropriate decisions, prioritizing tasks, and staying productive without constant supervision. This is not a desk job. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, interacting with guests, cleaning, organizing, troubleshooting, and multitasking. Responsibilities Guest Experience Welcome families with a warm, friendly, and engaging attitude Check guests into our reservation and waiver systems Process payments and assist with memberships and bookings Answer guest questions and provide exceptional customer service Build positive relationships with children and parents Handle routine guest concerns confidently and professionally Play Space Care Continuously tidy, clean, and sanitize toys and equipment Wipe tables, counters, and high-touch surfaces throughout the day Sweep and spot-clean as needed Restock supplies and keep the facility organized Notice and address cleaning needs without waiting to be asked Monitor the play space to ensure it remains clean, safe, organized, and inviting throughout the day Daily Operations Open the facility and prepare it for guests each morning Complete assigned opening, cleaning, and organizational tasks Keep the front desk and common areas neat and stocked Use multiple reservation, waiver, payment, and communication systems throughout the shift Troubleshoot basic operational issues and know when to contact management for assistance Prioritize responsibilities during busy periods Stay productive during slower periods without needing constant direction Communicate important updates to the next shift to ensure a smooth transition Physical Requirements This is an active position requiring: Standing and walking for most of your shift Frequent bending, squatting, lifting, and carrying supplies Climbing stairs Moving quickly during busy periods Regular cleaning and organizing throughout the shift Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with families Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong attention to detail, particularly when cleaning Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable learning and working within multiple computer/tablet-based systems Able to work independently and confidently without constant supervision Self-motivated and able to recognize what needs to be done without always being given a task Dependable and punctual Able to remain organized while handling interruptions and changing priorities Comfortable interacting with young children and families Previous childcare, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required Requirements Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Must pass a background check and drug test Must be consistently available Monday-Thursday from 8:45 AM-2:00 PM You'll Be a
