Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional and courteous Concierge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay. You will be responsible for assisting guests with their inquiries, making reservations, and providing recommendations to enhance their overall experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor. Provide information and assistance regarding hotel services, facilities, and local attractions. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively. Coordinate and manage guest reservations, including dining, transportation, and activities. Maintain a well-organized and updated knowledge of the surrounding area, events, and attractions. Assist with luggage handling, room escorts, and other guest services as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Manage and update guest profiles to personalize their experience. Handle administrative tasks such as booking confirmations, guest communications, and report generation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Concierge or in a customer service role is preferred. Strong knowledge of the local area, including restaurants, events, and attractions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in using booking systems, email, and office software. High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus. Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field is highly desirable.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry luggage and other items as needed. Please do not call the office directly unless instructed to do so. Unapproved calls to the office will result in automatic removal from consideration or from your current position.
