About True Bliss True Bliss is a licensed medical cannabis dispensary committed to providing Georgia patients with high-quality, safe, and effective medical cannabis products. We strive to maintain a secure, professional, welcoming, and compassionate environment for every patient and team member. As a Dispensing Agent, you will play an essential role in helping patients understand their options, select appropriate products, and complete purchases through a safe and compliant dispensing process. Position Overview The Dispensing Agent provides professional, knowledgeable, and patient-focused service to everyone who visits True Bliss. This position is responsible for educating patients about available products, assisting with product selection based on individual preferences and needs, processing transactions accurately, and following all applicable regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and eager to learn about medical cannabis products and the industry. Key Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and provide professional, compassionate service. Educate patients about available medical cannabis products, including product types, labeled uses, potential effects, and responsible-use information. Assist patients with selecting products based on their individual needs and preferences while remaining within the permitted scope of the role. Verify patient eligibility, identification, and medical certification in accordance with state regulations and company procedures. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Handle cash and electronic payments securely and responsibly. Maintain accurate patient records, purchase information, and relevant notes for future visits. Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements and company policies. Follow all security, safety, product-handling, and regulatory compliance procedures. Keep the dispensing area clean, organized, and properly stocked. Ensure products are stored and displayed according to company and regulatory standards. Assist with inventory counts, recordkeeping, product tracking, and discrepancy reporting. Stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and industry developments. Contribute to a positive, educational, and customer-focused workplace. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of experience in a high-volume retail, customer service, or healthcare environment. Previous experience in a medical cannabis dispensary is preferred but not required. Additional training or certification in healthcare, cannabis education, or customer service is a plus. Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Strong cash-handling skills and experience using point-of-sale systems. Basic knowledge of medical cannabis products and their potential therapeutic uses, or a willingness to learn. Ability to protect confidential patient information and follow HIPAA requirements. Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Google Drive and related applications. Ability to follow detailed compliance, security, and operating procedures. Must meet all applicable state requirements and successfully pass a background check. Physical and Working Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, and perform routine retail tasks. Ability to occasionally lift and handle heavier merchandise or supplies. Ability to work in a secure, highly regulated retail environment. Availability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
