Starting at $16.00/hour + commission and membership bonuses About Us Spavia Ann Arbor is a locally owned luxury day spa offering a full range of award-winning treatments — including massage, skincare, body wraps, waxing, mineral makeup, and eyelash extensions. We are proud to provide an exceptional guest experience in a beautiful, welcoming environment. Our team is caring, professional, and passionate about wellness and hospitality. We're now hiring Guest Advisors to join our front desk and guest services team — the heart and face of our spa. Position Summary As a Guest Advisor/Spa Coordinator, you'll ensure every guest feels relaxed, cared for, and welcomed from the moment they arrive. You'll manage guest check-in and checkout, schedule appointments, recommend services and products, and help maintain a calm, polished atmosphere throughout the spa. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with customer service, retail, or hospitality experience who loves people, organization, and wellness. Responsibilities
- Open/Close spa depending on shift
- Greet and assist guests with warmth and professionalism
- Schedule and confirm appointments via phone and software
- Check guests in/out and handle payments accurately
- Maintain spa cleanliness and presentation
- Educate guests on services, memberships, and retail products
- Support team operations and help ensure a seamless guest experience
- Participate in membership and retail sales (commission eligible)
- Uphold Spavia's service standards and culture of respect, teamwork, and care Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ year of customer service, spa, salon, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Friendly, polished, and professional demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and goal-oriented
- Able to work evenings and at least one weekend day per week. Schedules are fixed.
