Overview The Household Manager is a trusted, hands-on professional responsible for the daily care, organization, and smooth operation of a private family residence. This role combines household duties, light property and garden care, animal care, and coordination of select service providers to maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning home environment. The Home Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring the household runs smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest level of discretion. This role combines household duties such as cleaning, laundry/pressing, organization of spaces, personal assistance, vendor coordination, and concierge-level service to support the family's lifestyle.

Primary Responsibilities:

Daily Household Duties Laundry care including washing, folding, hanging, and pressing/ironing clothing Dishwashing, kitchen reset, and maintaining clean living spaces Organizing closets, pantries, cabinets, and household storage Maintaining household supplies and inventory Bedroom Turnover Turning over bedrooms as needed (resetting rooms, fresh linens, organizing, cleaning) Ensuring guest and family bedrooms are clean, orderly, and prepared for use Home & Property Care Light gardening and plant maintenance Monitoring general home condition and needs Coordinating home services Seasonal household tasks as needed Scheduling and supervising maintenance with other service providers Organization & Support Maintaining an orderly household environment Assisting with occasional errands and grocery shopping Anticipating household needs and addressing them proactively Qualifications Experience in household management, estate care, or professional housekeeping Comfortable with hands on domestic duties Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Able to work independently and follow established routines Physically capable of household and outdoor tasks Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Bonus / Preferred Skills & Additional Responsibilities (Not required, but a strong plus for the right candidate) Groundskeeping Support Pull weeds and mulch beds Blow off patio and driveway Remove spiderwebs from home exterior Window washing Wash boats Wipe down dock areas regularly Take out trash from house and place bins at street

Miscellaneous Household Support:

Patio setup and takedown for seasons or events Hang photos and artwork Take vehicles for washing and interior vacuuming Coordinate or assist with seasonal household projects Animal Care Daily feeding, care, and maintenance of chickens Schedule & Compensation Part-time or full-time (flexible) Daytime hours (Typically 9am-2pm Monday-Friday with occasional weekends) Competitive hourly rate or salary based on experience
