Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our team. Leasing experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This position will play a vital role in ensuring excellent service for both current residents and prospective tenants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and customer service tasks, with a focus on resident retention, leasing activities, and overall office support.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet residents and prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner. Process rental applications and follow up with applicants. Prepare and organize lease packets for new residents. Coordinate and assist with the move-in process for prospective residents. Post rental payments and keep records up to date. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information on available units. Communicate effectively with current residents regarding maintenance, rent payment, and any community updates. Assist with planning and executing social functions and community events. Contribute to resident retention strategies and ensure satisfaction. Provide support to the Property Manager with day-to-day tasks as needed. Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a positive rapport with residents and prospects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service abilities and a positive attitude. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in leasing or property management is helpful but not required. Proficiency in basic office software and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
