Our front desk is the first face members and walk-ins see — we're looking for someone friendly, dependable, and genuinely into the gym environment to help keep things running and keep members coming back. What you'll do Our front desk staff keep the gym welcoming, clean, and organized. Day to day, you'll: Greet members and guests, sign up new members and day-pass/walk-in customers, and check people in using our gym management software. Answer phones and emails, field questions about memberships, classes, and hours, and help resolve basic account or billing questions. Keep the floor clean and safe: wiping down and sanitizing equipment, re-racking weights, and tidying common areas throughout your shift. Provide great in-person customer service, from giving a quick facility tour to helping a traveler figure out a day pass. Additional duties may include Depending on the shift and your interests, you may also: Take photos and short videos for our social media, and help capture the gym's energy and community. Assist with laundry (towels ) and general facility upkeep. Help with light administrative tasks and restocking. Grow with us — teach group fitness Interested in coaching? Qualified staff have the opportunity to teach group fitness classes for additional pay at $25/hour per class on top of front-desk wages. We're happy to help the right person develop into a class instructor over time. What we're looking for A positive, reliable, people-first attitude: you enjoy talking to members and creating a good experience. Comfort learning and using gym/scheduling software and handling basic transactions. Ability to multitask in a busy environment and stay on top of cleaning and check-in at the same time. Dependability and punctuality, including availability for some early-morning, evening, or weekend shifts (gym hours are 6am-7pm weekdays, 7am-5pm weekends). Comfort with physical tasks like re-racking weights, cleaning equipment, and moving laundry. Nice to have (not required) Prior front desk, hospitality, retail, or fitness industry experience. Group fitness certification, or interest in earning one. Basic comfort with a phone camera and social media (Instagram/Facebook).
