Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-oriented person who loves racquet sports and wants to be part of a growing padel community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has an interest in sports, and would love the opportunity to play padel and be involved in the day-to-day life of a padel club. The Front Desk team member will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day business activities at the padel club, creating an exceptional experience for members and guests, assisting with league management and special events, supporting staff coordination, and performing other duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Customer Service:
Greet members, visitors, and guests in a friendly, professional, and enthusiastic manner. Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for everyone visiting the club. Provide information about club services, programs, leagues, events, and facilities. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel. Assist members with membership inquiries, account management, and registration for programs, leagues, and events. Build strong relationships with members and contribute to creating a vibrant padel community.
Check-In and Registration:
Process memberships, guest passes, and program registrations using the club's management software. Verify membership status, collect fees, and issue receipts as needed. Maintain accurate records of attendance, guest visits, and membership transactions.
Facility Management:
Monitor access to the facility, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the premises. Enforce club policies and rules regarding facility usage, safety, and conduct. Coordinate equipment rentals and other member services. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming club environment. League & Event Support Assist with the organization and day-to-day management of leagues, tournaments, clinics, and special events. Help with player check-in and event preparation. Communicate with players regarding schedules, changes, and event information. Support the team in creating a fun and engaging experience during club events.
Administrative Support:
Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, and data entry. Assist with mail handling, package delivery, and other clerical duties. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicate effectively with other staff members to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues or concerns. Relay messages, requests, and feedback between members and management. Collaborate to coordinate activities and events.
Court & Equipment Maintenance:
Collaborate with the Head Coach to assure the properly padel courts maintenance to guarantee the best match experience. Help ensure the courts are always ready for members and guests and provide the best possible playing experience.
Emergency Response:
Follow established procedures for handling emergencies, including medical incidents, security concerns, or facility disruptions. Provide assistance and direction to members and guests during emergency situations.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in hospitality, sports management, or related field preferred. Previous experience in customer service, reception, or front desk roles, preferably in a sports or fitness environment. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, scheduling, and membership management. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. CPR/AED certification and knowledge of basic first aid procedures (optional).
