Immediate Hire Luxury apartment buildings consisting of luxury rental and hotel suites located in Westbury, NY, has an opening for a concierge/bellhop position Bellhop Friday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Concierge Monday:

8:00am-4:00pm

Tuesday:

8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday:

Single shifts or Double shift available between 8:00 a.m. - Midnight Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Meeting, greeting and directing residents and guests Accepting deliveries/packages. Add information into software. Check in and check out hotel guests, and post all charges. Make hotel keys Run daily and shift property management reports Answer phones Respond to guest and resident inquiries and issues for timely resolutions Open doors, carry bags, and provide guest assistance as needed Handle problems and errands as they arise Receive mail and packages from courier services and hold these in safe storage until picked up by the intended recipient. Stay alert during shift in order to screen for security Patrolling the property premises, including resident floors (both interior and exterior) Checking the parking area and ensuring there are no unauthorized vehicles (at least twice a shift) Ensuring all entrances are locked, with no items propping them open Monitoring who enters the building, and addressing any loiterers Filling in the security log Monitoring the security cameras Responding to calls when colleagues need assistance Escorting guests where necessary Providing Guest Parking Passes to guests of residents or hotel guests Other administrative tasks as requested by supervisors, such as coordinating materials for events and confirming building or guest information

Additional Bellhop Responsibilities:

Must cross train in Concierge-specific responsibilities for assigned shift Explaining to guest the features of the guest room and how it operates upon checking in. Cover the concierge desk as needed if Concierge needs to step away Provide Family Style Service to Guests and Team Members Carry luggage for guests from their vehicle up to their room in a safe and professional way Perform other hotel services as assigned and respond to guest requests as necessary, such as delivering mail and food to guest's rooms, taking laundry service, making sure public areas are clean, and checking the guest's luggage for storage Perform related tasks as required.

Position Requirements:

Excellent customer service and communication skills Pushing and pulling luggage cart to and from guest rooms. Must be able to lift over 50 pounds. Position is performed standing and/or walking. Position requires a flexible schedule that includes availability to work weekends and holidays.

Pay:

$18.75 - $20.00 per hour
