Work Location:
In-person role based in Windham, NY.
Seasonal Position:
This role is available for the winter season.
Pay:
$24.00 per hour to $30.00 per hour
Anticipated Start Dates:
Weather-dependent, typically beginning in December.
Schedule:
Will require working early mornings, weekends, and holidays
Position Summary:
The Member Concierge is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for members and assisting them in all ways possible. The Concierge remains ready to take action to ensure member satisfaction by providing information to questions, coordinating all special requests and services, and informing members of services, features and member amenities.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome all members and their guests, inquiring if they have any questions and/or concerns and responding professionally. Maintain full knowledge of prices, programs, scheduled events, reports etc. and where to find them. Includes weather and trail conditions during the winter season. Ensure a neat and comfortable environment in all member areas, coordinating with facilities department as needed. Perform daily walkthroughs of all members areas to identify and address proactive and reactive maintenance. Orchestrate transportation requests from Members, guests, and resort stay guests. Oversee and/or complete Member/Guest charges on the day of excursions and driving requests. Assist club members with dining, amenity, and excursion reservations. Serve as point of contact for members during working hours. Attend all member events. Oversee entertainment arrival, set up and completion of all. Maintain locker assignments, combinations, and ensure locker area is maintained. Oversee club support staff. Maintain accurate and up to date profiles for all members. Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.
Qualifications:
4+ years experience in a high-level service role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with members and guests. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with CRM systems preferred. Professional demeanor with a welcoming and personable attitude. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Adaptable to change in a dynamic environment. Valid drivers license and no driving violations on record.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds. Ability to sit, stand and walk for up to 8 hours. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces. Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly. Ability to perform fine motor skills congruent with operating computers and smart phones.
