Fitness Floor Concierge Job Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Fitness Floor Concierge to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our fitness area. As a Fitness Floor Concierge, you will be responsible for assisting members with equipment use, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the gym floor, and enforcing gym policies to promote a safe, welcoming, and high-end fitness experience. All shifts are needed
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Exceptional Customer Service:
Greet and assist all gym members and guests with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
Monitor and Maintain Fitness Floor:
Oversee the fitness area to ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment, including wiping down machines, organizing equipment, and removing any clutter. Assist with
Equipment Use:
Help members understand how to properly use equipment and provide assistance as needed during their workouts.
Enforce Gym Policies:
Ensure that gym policies (such as equipment usage, cleanliness, and safety guidelines) are followed to promote a respectful and efficient environment for all members.
Address Member Concerns:
Handle member feedback, questions, and concerns in a timely, positive, and solution-oriented manner.
Promote Safety:
Keep an eye on the floor to ensure the safety of members, making sure all equipment is used properly and safely. Maintain a
Clean Environment:
Regularly clean fitness equipment, ensure towels and supplies are stocked, and keep the floor free from any hazards or distractions. Collaborate with
Team:
Work closely with other team members to maintain a high level of service and ensure all aspects of the fitness area are well-managed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent Customer Service:
Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals in a friendly, positive, and professional manner.
Strong Communication Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in person and through other communication methods (email, phone, etc.).
Knowledge of Fitness:
A basic understanding of gym equipment, exercises, and fitness protocols is preferred. Certification in fitness or health-related fields is a plus.
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
Ability to resolve conflicts and handle member concerns with a solution-oriented mindset.
Team Player:
Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift equipment, and assist members with physical tasks. Able to lift up to 100 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Experience:
1-3 years of experience in hospitality, fitness, or customer service industries, particularly in high-end facilities or luxury environments.
Certifications:
CPR/AED certification or relevant fitness certifications are a plus.
Aesthetic and Professional Presentation:
A polished and professional appearance that aligns with the luxury environment.
Rate of Pay:
$12-$14/hour based on experience.

$12.00 - $14.00 per hour
