Concierge Security Officer Location:
Downtown Austin, Texas 78701
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Reports To:
Site Supervisor / Account Manager Concierge Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, employees, and visitors. The officer will provide a professional security presence while delivering courteous and attentive customer service. Essential Duties Monitor building entrances, exits, common areas, and designated security areas. Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols. Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, safety hazards, and disturbances. Greet and assist residents, guests, employees, and visitors in a professional manner. Verify visitors, vendors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with property procedures. Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Monitor surveillance cameras and access-control systems when assigned. Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports. Promptly communicate security concerns and incidents to supervisors and client representatives. Follow all company policies, client requirements, and site-specific post orders. Maintain a professional appearance, uniform, and demeanor at all times. Remain alert, attentive, and engaged throughout the entire shift. Qualifications Prior security, concierge, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Strong observation and situational-awareness skills. Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently. Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
